πŸͺͺ Event Registration πŸͺͺ

​

Upon arrival, please ensure you collect your name badge at the registration desk.

Delegates must always wear their lanyard during the conference. Please bring your own lanyard to attach your name tag to.

The registration desk will be located on Level 1 of the venue and will open at 8.00 am each day. 

  • Arrival tea and coffee will be served from 8.00 am. 

  • Exhibitor booths will be open the same times as our registration desk.

You can check below all the details of your registration (inc. dietary requirements). 

A reminder that, as per our Terms and Conditions, you can NOT share a registration.

Payment

Full payment is required prior to the conference commencing. Any outstanding payments can be paid by credit card - Please send an email to events@phaa.net.au if you encounter any issues.

We strongly encourage you to Download the Conference App before arriving at the event. It's where you'll find all the information you need - agenda details, delegates meeting hub, notes, etc.

  2. Your personal access details will be sent to you via email a few days before the conference

The App also allows you to connect with other delegates - We encourage you to watch this 90-second video on how to change what personal details to share and how to connect with other delegates

 

Please note, you will not be able to view the live or on demand sessions from the conference app - you'll receive a separate email about access to our Plenary Hub 24 hours before the event.

Exhibition booths will be open from 8.00 am to the end of each conference day in the Upper Foyer area (near Catering & Registration).

Satellite Events - Please visit our Satellite Events Page

Costs to attend Satellite Events varies, but registration is essential as space is limited. 

Satellite event refers to any activity which is independently organised, offered, and/or accredited by an organisation other than the Public Health Association of Australia and held before, during or after the Australian Public Health Conference 2026.​ They provide additional learning and networking opportunities.

Name Badge Networking Stickers

For the first time at APHC 2026, delegates will be invited to pick Networking Stickers to stick to their name tags. We designed the categories to provide an icebreaker and make it easier for everyone to approach new people and identify shared interests instantly. Catering breaks will be opportunities to connect. 

​

Welcome Reception

  • When: Tuesday 15 September, 5:00pm – 6:00pm

  • Where: Upper Foyer (Level 1)

  • What: Canapes and substantial food will be served. Non-alcoholic beverages will be provided throughout the reception. Alcoholic beverages will be available to purchase at the "cash" bar.

  • Registration is free but mandatory - You can check if you are registered to attend in the registration confirmation email we sent you.

Conference Dinner

  • When: Wednesday 16 September, 5:00pm – 6:00pm

  • Where: Darrwal Room A&B (Combined)

  • What: Two courses (entree and main) will be served, plus non-alcoholic beverages. Alcoholic beverages will be available to purchase at the "cash" bar.

  • This is a Ticketed Networking function, you need to have purchased a registration to attend - You can check if you are registered to attend in the registration confirmation email we sent you. ​

ℹ️ Other practical details ℹ️

​

Wi-Fi & Technology

Free wireless internet can be accessed throughout the venue:

  • Connection the Nyaal Banyul Wifi will take you to a portal where you will need to accept the T&Cs for service.

  • Connection lasts for 2 hours. You can simply re-accept the T&Cs if you need additional time.

  • The service is suitable for checking emails and basic web browsing. 

Please bring a backup power source for your devices if you need to charge them during the event.

Breaks

Morning/Afternoon Tea and Lunch will be served in the Upper Foyer (Level 1). There will be limited seating available in the area, but you are free to head to the outdoor areas and/or sit in the conference rooms. 
Dietary Requirements: The venue has been notified of any dietary requirements delegates have provided during the online registration process.

Dress Code

The dress code for the conference is smart casual. Please note that the venue can become cold at times, so please bring along a scarf or jacket.

You are welcome to bring your own water bottle as well - there will be water fountains to refill it. 

​

Luggage

Unfortunately we are unable to provide a secure luggage storage area at the conference venue. If you choose to bring luggage with you, please keep it with you at all times and ensure it remains safely stored without creating a tripping hazard or obstructing any emergency exits or access points.

 

Evaluation Questionnaires

A Conference evaluation will be emailed at the end of the Conference; we ask all delegates to complete the form.
