Venue Access

The venue for APHC 2026 is the Nyaal Banyul Geelong Convention and Event Centre - 80 Western Beach Rd, Geelong VIC 3220.

Getting there

By air

  • Fly directly into Avalon Airport from Sydney, Brisbane, or the Gold Coast with Jetstar, just a 20-minute drive to Geelong. Choose from car, taxi, shuttle bus, or car hire, with MyBus Geelong offering shuttle services to and from the airport.

  • Alternatively, Melbourne Airport provides regular domestic and international flights. Just an hour's drive to Geelong, you can also:

    • Use the Express Airport Skybus that will get you to the Melbourne Train Station where you can catch a train to Geelong (see "By Rail" below)

    • Book transfers through Gull Airport Service, which also offers VIP services and coach charters.

By rail

  • Enjoy a relaxing train ride with regular V/Line services connecting Melbourne and Geelong. Geelong Station is the closest, just a 10-minute walk from the venue.

  • Walk along Brougham and Gheringhap Streets towards the Main Entrance on Western Beach Road. Plan your journey with the PTV Journey Planner.
     

By road

  • Parking at Nyaal Banyul is simple and convenient. Wilsons Parking offers secure on-site parking and flexible rates. Enter via 7 Cavendish Street, Geelong VIC 3220. Also with over 4,700 off-street and 5,400 on-street spaces in Central Geelong, both short and long-term options are just moments away. Explore parking options in Central Geelong.

  • Taxi and ride share drop off and pick up zones will be located on Western Beach Road and Smythe Street.

  • A variety of bus routes will be available depending on your departure point. Use the PTV Journey Planner to identify the best option.

  • Coach pick-up and drop-off bays will be located outside the Main Entrance on Western Beach Road, accommodating up to three coaches at a time.

  • Free 2-hour parking on weekdays is now available in 2P bays across central Geelong, making it easier than ever to drop in for a meeting, attend an event, or explore the waterfront.

When you register to attend the conference, you will get a chance to indicate what your accessibility requirements are and our Events Team commits to doing their best to accommodate. 

Please note, complimentary wheelchairs are available for use within the venue. For us to arrange booking of one, please indicate that you need one via the "Accessibility Requirements" section in our registration form.
